It is a combination medicine containing two active ingredients: (Esomeprazole) as the component (ESI) and (Nexium) as the component (Nexium).

Nexium Control is used for adults (aged 18 or above) with mild to moderate reflux or (heartburn) who have stomach or intestinal ulcers, perforations, and/or impaired absorption of nutrients such as iron, zinc, magnesium, or vitamin B12. Esomeprazole is also used to control pain and inflammation (such as peritonitis) caused by cancer or other travel-related causes.
